What it means to be 100% plant-based, vegetarian & vegan-friendly?
Our foods are handmade only by plants; in that they do not contain milk, nor dairy products, eggs, honey or other animal by-products in its composition. Our Savouries are also alliums free (no onions / no garlic) to suit a vegetarian diet.
Are your products all-natural, gluten free or allergen free?
We’re 100% all-natural and are constantly improving to go low sugar, or work with a replacement of natural sweeteners and healthier swaps. Staying true to our motto of providing (un)guilty pleasures, we try to make our foods as inclusive as possible as we continuously conduct R&D on gluten free alternatives. The result, however, may lead us to the use of nuts and other allergens.
Do check in with us on our list of ingredients should you require, before placing your order. If you require any of our Sweets to be gluten free (customised orders only), do let us know and we’ll see if it’s possible! Do take note that while our kitchen does handle a range of ingredients, we do take extra care to prevent cross-contamination.

Is the Café halal-certified?
We are not halal-certified but we are 100% plant-based so definitely no pork/lard is used in any process; with the exception of possible traces of alcohol that may be used in some cases. Feel free to check with our crew should you need clarifications before placing an order.
Is self-collection/takeaway available?
Craving for an (un)guilty pleasure? You can pre-order at least 3 days in advance and choose to self-collect from 17 Marine Terrace.
Timing for self-collection is usually between 12pm to 5pm on Saturdays but is flexible for alternate arrangements upon order confirmation.
Delivery fees & self-collection/takeaway
Craving for an (un)guilty pleasure? You can pre-order at least 3 days in advance and opt for delivery or self-collection.
Deliveries are at $10 per location, happening every Saturday between 12pm to 5pm (unless otherwise stated) / Spend above $150 to have delivery waived.
For areas such as Sentosa, Changi Airport, Halls of NTU/NUS, delivery charges will be $15.
No-go zones for delivery:
All off-shore islands eg. Tuas, Jurong Island
All airports, army camps, bases and prisons
All pass protected areas.
Self-collect from Marine Terrace. Timing for self-collection is usually between 12pm to 5pm on Saturdays but is flexible for alternate arrangements upon order confirmation.
Storage and Consumption recommendations for your Selections
from LILAC OAK
Tarts: Best consumed fresh on the day of delivery (have them chillin’ in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating). Store chilled up to 3 days (the tart base would turn soggy the longer you store it).
Very Fudgy Raw Brownies: Enjoy your Raw Brownie chilled for a chewy bite; or warm it up for a soft, molten melt-in-the-mouth! Microwave at 15s intervals and top it with your favourite gelato. Keep refrigerated for 1 week or in the freezer up to a month.
Dark Chocolate Cakes/Teacakes: Allow the cake to “thaw” out of the fridge for about 5-10 minutes before cutting. Keep refrigerated for up to 3-5 days.
Tea Cookies, Crackers & Granola: Keeps fresh in an air-tight container for up to a month.
Pies: Keep chilled in the fridge for up to 4 days or freezer up to 2 weeks. Heat them up in an oven, toaster or airfryer before consumpttion.

Handcrafted Vegan Kimchi: Kimchi is best kept refrigerated in an airtight container, up to month as long as it is not contaminated. Keeping your kimchi in room temperature would allow it to continue fermenting quickly (if you like yours more sour). Always use clean utensils when portioning out your kimchi for consumption (prevents contamination).
Vegetarian Achar: Keep refrigerated up to a month. It can technically last longer (if it survives not entering your tummy), however it might lose its crunch along the way..
(other) Pickles: Keep refrigerated for two weeks to a month. It will not spoil but will start to lose its crunch along the way.. To preserve their texture for longer, ensure that the pickles are well-soaked in its brine (depending on the size/shape of containers you choose to store them in).
